The NC Team had a great showing at the PGA Junior League Championship hosted at the Grayhawk Golf Club, in Scottsdale, AZ. 64,000 kids started the season on local teams and only 96 players made it to the championship! 12 Teams started the championship, with only 4 teams being able to qualify for the finals on Sunday. The NC Team sat on the bubble, in 4th, after the first day of play and scored even better on day 2, but, unfortunately, fell short of Sundays final matches by 1 shot. Only 4 strokes separated the NC from the medalist team. The championship was eventually won by the team from Utah, but a huge congratulations goes out to Zabe and the team from NC for all their efforts and great play. It was a great experience and a true victory making it that far. Thanks for all the support from family and friends…we all enjoyed the journey.
