Over the past few months we have been selecting tournaments that have fit easily into our schedule, have kept the boys competitive juices flowing, and have allowed us to test the family’s ownership of some major life changes. We have not only moved to a new city and Zac is now going to high school, but in the midst of this we have been hyper-focused on minimalizing our need for “stuff.” These changes are proving to be far reaching for the whole family and settling into the new life takes time and trust.

Zac and Zabe won their local tournaments last Sunday and they both finished second on Saturday. We are always excited and happy as caddies and parents to stand by their side and walk those 18 holes with them, no matter the final results. That being said, we are very encouraged and excited right now with some more fundamental changes we are seeing in both boys that don’t always show up immediately in a score.

Stay tuned …
