Extreme weather conditions made for a rough start at the Notah Begay Regional Qualifier at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC.  Zabe started with a 2 over par front nine, and was 4 back of the lead, before play was suspended for the afternoon.  The second day started early as all players prepared for a 27-hole marathon to complete the tournament.  Zabe went out on a mission, playing the first 20 holes, bogey free, 6 under par, and found himself in the lead by 2 strokes.  Unable to keep up the hot pace, Zabe made a few bogeys in the closing holes and ended up finishing 3rd.  Another great finish…but more importantly, a huge step in learning his birdie making potential.  Great run, Zabe!
